SEO Specialist

Job Overview:
As an SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing SEO strategies that improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic. You will work closely with our content, development, and marketing teams to implement on-page and off-page optimization techniques and help businesses achieve their digital marketing goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Perform on-page SEO optimization, including meta tags, headers, images, and internal linking.
  • Develop and implement off-page SEO strategies, including link building and outreach.
  • Conduct technical SEO audits and collaborate with developers to fix issues (site speed, crawlability, indexation).
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
  • Optimize content for SEO, working with content creators to ensure alignment with SEO strategies.
  • Prepare monthly SEO reports for clients, outlining progress, challenges, and next steps.
  • Support the creation of data-driven marketing strategies for client campaigns.
  • Collaborate with other team members, including content, social media, and PPC specialists, to enhance overall marketing efforts.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 2-3 years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in a marketing agency.
  • Solid understanding of SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar.
  • Experience with technical SEO audits, keyword research, on-page and off-page SEO strategies.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Shopify, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of how search engines work and what factors affect rankings.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain SEO strategies and performance to clients.
  • A proactive attitude, detail-oriented approach, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
