Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Copilot team. This role is integral to the development of our cutting-edge platform, where you will be responsible for driving both front-end and back-end solutions, with a strong emphasis on back-end development. The ideal candidate is a seasoned engineer with significant startup experience and exceptional communication skills.
Key Responsibilities

Lead full-stack development efforts, with a focus on front-end systems (60% preferred).

Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable software solutions.

Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features.

Participate in code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to the team's technical growth.

Engage in architectural discussions and contribute to the technical direction of the Copilot platform.
Must-Have Requirements:

Strong proficiency in front-end development (60% preferred) with a solid understanding of front-end technologies. Acceptable languages include JavaScript and Python.

At least 5 years of software engineering experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a senior role, capable of leading end-to-end development without requiring a lead.

Must be located in the Bay Area and able to work in the Redwood City office 3 days per week.

Previous experience in a startup environment, ideally within the seed to Series C stages.

Clear, concise, and logical communication abilities, both written and verbal.
