We are looking for a detail-oriented and creative Product Development Specialist to enhance and improve our existing product range. This role requires strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of eCommerce trends to refine product designs, packaging, and overall quality. The ideal candidate will work closely with suppliers, inventory teams, and customer service to ensure product improvements align with customer needs and market demands.
Skills Required
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to improve product quality and design.
- Experience in eCommerce product development, including packaging and branding.
- Ability to analyse customer feedback and competitor products to identify areas for improvement.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with suppliers, inventory teams, and customer service.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets, Excel, and product tracking tools.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure product manuals, packaging, and online listings are error-free.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse customer feedback and competitor products to identify improvement opportunities.
- Work with suppliers and manufacturers to enhance product quality, features, and packaging.
- Develop and refine packaging designs, ensuring they align with brand identity and market trends.
- Liaise with the inventory team and procurement staff to coordinate product improvements with stock management.
- Work closely with customer service teams to identify recurring product issues and implement solutions.
- Ensure product manuals, packaging, and online listings are accurate, free from misspellings, and contain correct information.
- Test and evaluate new prototypes and product samples before finalising changes.
Maintain detailed records of product revisions, costs, and improvements.
