we need a Product Development & Launch Manager who can take ideas from concept to high-performing SKUs—and keep them winning post-launch. You’ll be the driver behind product innovation, working cross-functionally to build and optimize top-tier listings that dominate their categories.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze market trends, keyword demand, competitor gaps, and customer pain points.
Build and maintain a pipeline of high-margin, high-potential product ideas.
Conduct rapid validation on pricing, profitability, compliance, and demand.
Present go/no-go cases with clear data and business rationale to the CEO.
Manage sourcing and supplier negotiation with support from our China-based team.
Oversee sampling, cost breakdowns, BOM specs, risk assessments, and production readiness.
Ensure timely sign-offs on packaging, product quality, and logistics planning.
Coordinate with creatives (copywriting, graphics, 3D, photography) to create listing asset kits.
Align launch strategies with PPC, inventory management, and review generation teams.
Define and track key launch metrics: go-live dates, 30-day sales goals, and review milestones.
Monitor post-launch metrics: conversion rates, review ratings, return rates, and margin.
Identify performance issues and lead improvements (content, pricing, packaging, etc.).
Run structured A/B tests on images, titles, and product packaging.
Spot and execute on opportunities for expansion: new variants, bundles, or cross-channel rollouts.
Create and manage project briefs, calendars, and feedback cycles across departments.
Report to the CEO on product pipeline health, launch readiness, and SKU performance.
Refine and document launch playbooks and SOPs to ensure scalable processes.
Requirements:
Amazon Expertise: 3+ years launching and scaling physical products on Amazon; you’ve owned the full lifecycle of multiple ASINs.
Analytical & Commercial: You know your numbers—COGS, margins, break-even points, and P&L accountability.
Supplier-Side Acumen: Skilled in sample reviews, cost negotiations, BOM analysis, and quality assurance.
Creative Fluency: You give sharp, actionable feedback that helps creative teams turn ideas into assets that convert.
Project Management Pro: You keep launch calendars moving on track using tools like Asana, ClickUp, or Monday.
Ownership Mentality: You’re proactive, fast-moving, and thrive when you're accountable for results.
