About the Role:
We’re looking for a Founding Full Stack Engineer to help shape the future of how startups shut down. You’ll be part of a lean, high-impact team building core product features—from legal and investor workflows to internal tools that accelerate our operations. As the third engineer on the team, your work will have an outsized impact on the company’s velocity, technical direction, and overall success. This role is for someone who thrives in ambiguity, loves end-to-end product ownership, and enjoys the balance of building both beautiful UIs and robust backend systems. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, product, ops, and design to solve complex, meaningful problems and move fast.
Responsibilities:

Design, build, and own core product features end-to-end—from ideation to production

Develop and maintain scalable backend systems and delightful frontend interfaces

Collaborate cross-functionally with product, operations, and design to rapidly iterate

Make foundational technical decisions with a long-term vision for scale and reliability

Build internal tools and integrations to help our team and customers move faster

Contribute to defining our engineering culture and best practices as an early team member.

In Your First 6 Months:

Learn: Get deep into our product, customers, and the startup shutdown process

Ramp: Gain fluency in our tech stack and development workflow

Refine: Improve existing features while getting to know the product inside out

Expend: Build new systems to power automation, analytics, and integrations
Requirements:

4–8 years of experience in full-stack engineering roles

Proven 0→1 experience — you've built and shipped products from scratch

Startup experience — ideally as a founding or early engineer

Experience with workflow-heavy products — fintech, legal tech, or project management tools

Strong across the stack — confident with both backend systems and frontend UIs

Deep product and UX sensibilities — you care about the details and the end user

Comfortable with ambiguity, fast iteration, and high ownership

Not a fit for bootcamp-only backgrounds — we’re looking for deep technical experience
