Position Summary:
Are you enthusiastic about the intersection of finance and technology? We are actively seeking an Algorithmic Trading Developer to join our team. As a pivotal member, you will be responsible for constructing and implementing cutting-edge trading algorithms, contributing to the development and coding of sophisticated trading strategies. If you possess a fervor for algorithmic trading, a penchant for innovation, and proven experience as a software developer in the trading domain, we want to hear from you.
Compensation:
Salary Range: $130,000 to $160,000 annually
Additional Quarterly Bonus: $5,000 based on performance and deliverables
Performance Objectives:

Translate trading strategies provided by strategists and stakeholders into functional algorithms.

Code, build, and backtest algorithmic strategies into functioning expert advisor programs for MT 4 and MT 5 platforms.

Write clean, concise, and efficient code; troubleshoot and debug algorithms.

Analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions to optimize code and address potential issues.

Collaborate closely with traders, quantitative strategists, contractors, and other team members to achieve goals.

Analyze user feedback and make adjustments as necessary; recommend and implement improvements to code.

Integrate with other APIs or AI models to achieve trading strategy outcomes.

Develop tools and utilities within the MetaTrader ecosystem to enhance user experience.

Build licensing solutions for trading algorithms as directed.
Key Competencies:

Financial Acumen: Understanding of financial markets, including equities, crypto derivatives, and forex (preferred).

Algorithmic Trading Expertise: Proven ability to develop and implement trading algorithms for MT 4 and MT 5 platforms.

Programming Skills: Proficiency in MQL and Python, with experience in backtesting using MetaTrader platform and familiarity with trading APIs; experience with code repository tools such as Gitlab or SVN.

Technical Proficiency: Ability to work with trading platforms, APIs, and data analysis tools, particularly MT 4 and MT 5.

Integration/API Development: Essential for connecting to APIs for data retrieval or trade execution; proficiency in integration development is preferred.

Adaptability: Quick learner of new technologies and methodologies to stay ahead of market trends and adapt to changing conditions.

Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and initiative to address complex problems and optimize algorithmic code.
Education and Experience:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Mathematics, or related field (preferred).

Minimum of 5 years of experience coding trading algorithms in the financial industry (required).

Experience with MT 4 and 5 (required).

Proficiency in programming languages such as MQL and Python (required).

Familiarity with trading platforms, APIs, and quantitative analysis tools (required).

Knowledge of Algo backtesting with platforms such as MetaTrader, Backtrader, QuantConnect, or others (preferred).

Knowledge of configuring services in cloud environments such as AWS or Azure and ML ops (preferred).
